Give your child a head start in the digital age with our fun and engaging coding classes designed for kids aged 8-12. Led by a skilled and dynamic instructor using innovative techniques, Kids Into Coding Kapiti is the perfect choice for your child.
Location : Coastlands Aquatic Centre - Meeting Room
Cost : $25 per class, invoiced per term
Bring : Own device (Chromebook, Macbook or Windows Laptop)
Small classes of up to 8 students
Classes use a variety of coding languages. For beginners we mostly use blocked-based coding. As students advance we move to text based coding, such as, Python, C++, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
With our classes your child will:

- Monday 3:30pm - 4:25pm
- Monday 4:30pm - 5:25pm
- Tuesday 3:30pm - 4:25pm
- Tuesday 4:30pm - 5:25pm
Classes are based coding abilities
Enrolment Process
It’s important that the class is good fit for the student. When starting in the classes no invoice will be created. The student can attend for a couple of classes to see if they enjoy it and if they are a good fit for the class. We can also try them in other classes if their experience doesn’t match the initial class (if there are spaces available).
If it’s decided that it doesn't work out (for any reason at all, no questions asked), there is no charge. If the student continues, an invoice will be created for the term (including the trial sessions).
